The Swedish American Museum invites you to a screening of the documentary film Catwalk. This film was created by the Glada Hudik Theater, which also curated the Icons exhibit alongside the Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm. The film seeks to raise awareness of people with intellectual disabilities, reduce stigma, fight stereotypes, and support further inclusion throughout society. It depicts the journey of Emma Örtlund and the Glada Hudik Theater as they create a powerful fashion show in the middle of New York Fashion Week. Produced by Storyfire and directed by Johan Skog, Catwalk was released to cinemas in January 2020.
