Join us for a reception with Sir Ross Fogelquist who has been living in the only Steiner log home in Portland, OR, for over 70 years. His house is on the National Register of Historic Places and he is an expert on Steiner cabins. Ross also has an extensive collection of Scandinavian artifacts from which he will highlight several used in the process of making log cabins. He has been foundational in the Scandinavian community in Oregon for over five decades where he founded three organizations, was knighted by the king of Sweden in 1985, and was Vice Consul to Sweden for Oregon from 2001 - 2007. And in his backyard lives the only Thomas Dambo troll in Oregon named "Ole Bolle."
